I am back in Florida after two weeks of intense dive training with Northeastern's Mission 31 team. It was a great time at home, catching up with people, and work. Gear is shipped, tickets are booked, and we are ready for Northeastern's portion of Mission 31 to start!
I left Boston this morning, and arrived back in the Keys this afternoon. I dropped my bags off at the house, and headed over to ReefBase to meet with Roger and discuss the logistics of the next few days. There are TONS of boxes we shipped from Boston that are now sitting in Reef Base. The boxes are filled with all of the scientific gear we will be using starting in a day and a half! One very cool peice of equipment that is waiting to be used is a 360 degree housing for GoPro cameras. This will allow us to take incredible 360 video while underwater- incredible!! I got a tutorial from a photographer from TIME Magazine who actually used the same type of housing while visiting Aquarius Habitat today.
Grace and I started packing up all of the things we will need while in the Habitat, after catching up with everyone back at Reef Base.

I've packed up all of the clothing I'll be bringing into Aquarius. We put all of our stuff into these trash bags, that then get put into special pots that can equalize pressure
